What is Kitting?
Kitting is essentially “marketing in a box.”
Kitting is a way to distribute products or information for a specific purpose. A media kit is an easy way to send information to multiple locations all at the same time.
What are some examples of Kitting
A need for kitting exists whether a restaurant changes their menu or a franchise opens a new location.
Let’s take the franchise opening for example. The new franchise location will need franchise printing services to get supplies such as training documents, marketing materials, business cards, posters, flyers, mugs, and any other items to get the franchise going.
The success of a menu change in a restaurant lies directly with the servers who are responsible for educating customers on the new items. In order for a server to educate customers, they need education themselves. Restaurant chains will utilize kitting services to send out posters or cards to servers to explain the new menu items.
Other examples of kitting:
- Corporate Training Materials
- Human Resources Packets
- New Employee Orientation Kits
- Promotional Kits for Trade Shows
- Gift Certificates
- And more
