Why do I need to view a proof?

Whether you provide files or we create artwork for you a proof is your opportunity to review every aspect of your project. Color, positioning, page order and spelling should be checked thoroughly. The proofing stage is the ideal time to catch errors and ensure your job will be perfect when delivered.

Depending on the method with which your job will be produced, you may receive one of several types of proofs. For simple jobs a pdf will be e-mailed to you or faxed at your request. More complex jobs including booklets will receive hard copy mockups delivered to you. If your project includes 4-color process printing your proof will be in the form of an Epson proof which represents color close to the final press run. back to top
